UPDATE (May 19):
So we changed our venu - Info in The Place entry- and now we don't need a separate caterer. We have a tasting with the hotel's chef on June 6th. I'll report back on our choices :)
UPDATE (April 14):
So Kabob Bazaar bailed out on us il nasaab!!
We looked around and found a few choices. We're left with the following:
*Afghan restaurant: seems like it's reasonably priced after all, but the quality of his work is in question. We're worried his service won't be professional.
*Moby Dick: have not heard back from them. Expecting a proposal sometime soon.
*R&R catering: the food is going to be more American but these guys have a lot of pluses. The food is good, and they are high professionals. Plus they have already worked in the Lyceum before. I'm waiting to hear back from the person to discuss some changes to the pricey proposal they gave us. Hopefully we end up with a better deal. Here's the Menu we're looking at now:
- Asparagus & Roasted Red Pepper Caesar
Crisp Romaine Lettuce with Asparagus Tips, Roasted Red Peppers, Mushrooms,
Parmesan and Crouton in our Classic Caesar Dressing - Mozzarella-Tomato Caprese
Buffalo Mozzarella Balls, Grape Tomatoes, Basil, Balsamic Vinegar, Olive Oil and
Cracked Pepper - Balsamic Glazed Sirloin
Sirloin Steak Seared with Sesame Seeds
Topped with a Delectable Balsamic Glaze with a Hint of Honey - Blackened Salmon
With Cajun Cream Sauce - Saffron Rice
- Broccoli-Cauliflower Gratin
- Hearth Baked Rolls with Butter

We are in the process of getting Kabob Bazaar to do our catering.
